Trabecular TitaniumTM is made from Titanium, one of the most biocompatible materials used in orthopaedic implants1.
In vitro genetic expression analysis on human osteoblast-like cells demonstrated that Trabecular TitaniumTM is able to enhance osteoblast proliferation and differentiation and limit osteoclastogenesis. Furthermore, it has been proven that it induces a down-regulation of several genes involved in the inflammatory process and modulates genes related to immune system2.
